Specifically, the division comprises the Wearnes Technology Solutions group - which offers wireless, video networks, R&D/software design services and O'Connor's, the systems integrator of choice for state-of-the-art, high technology content applications and solutions.

Wearnes Tech Solutions (“WTS”) is a dedicated wireless solutions provider, which develops and manufactures advanced Bluetooth™-based modules and applications customised to meet your requirements. Its flagship products can be integrated into almost any electrical device, providing OEMs and ODMs with an affordable and simple method of enabling their products with the latest Bluetooth™ technology.  With a dedicated pool of engineers, it aims to be the preferred company providing complete solutions for converged computers, consumer electronics and communication products. WTS owns the Windigo brand. You can find “Powered by Windigo” on products of the world’s most trusted and desired brands.

Wearnes’ core capability in this division lies in writing software solutions for devices and manufacturing them. In particular, Wearnes continues to engage in high value research and development in this area, developing software and hardware solutions for Bluetooth, WLan, WiFi and WiMax.

Wireless

Some of the products made by Wearnes tech Solutions include :

• Bluetooth™ Modules (core, and with applications) for portable car-kits, GPS services, Apple iPod accessories, mobile phones and stereo MP3 headsets, and stereo audio transmitters and receivers;
• Finished Bluetooth products such as headsets, USB adaptors, Bluetooth AV devices (including Wearnes’ own Music Angel – a stereo audio adapter with or without caller ID display), organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) headsets for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) with caller ID display, phone book browsing and caller ID dialing functions. Windigo was one of the first vendors in the world to offer this product.

Wearnes’ Tech Solutions Video has developed a unique video software technology that is based on a new generation distributed network. On top of this, low cost R&D and server/storage manufacturing means that Wearnes is well positioned to provide state-of-the-art, competitively priced video surveillance products.

To date, customers for these products have been in the military and security fields.
